Thanks everyone for the info! Way more responses than I expected. I guess I need to be more active on the forum.

I’m also new to NCKA and live in Pacifica too.  Hoping to go either on this Sat or Monday.  Anyone interested?

I’m brand new at this but I’ve been going out at Rockaway before work.  There seem to be a few kayakers out there each day. Happy to meet up early.

You're not alone...I hear your area is loaded with fish...plenty people launch from rockaway so just show up...given the appropriate weather...listen to others on tips and safety and geeturdun!
