Hey everybody,

I'm Alex, and I recently signed up on the forums. I was kayak fishing for bass at Lexington quite a while back, and met a person who suggested that I join this forum.
I don't quite remember that person's forum name, but he was testing out some modifications he made to his hobie adventure island. He said that he fishes out of santa cruz
often so if you see this post... please say hi!

Anyways, I usually kayak fish for bass and trout in the lakes around here. Haven't had the courage to hit the ocean yet, but am interested to learn and try for rockfish and lings.
I have a hobie oasis that I usually solo fish in.
If anyone is going out for rockfish/lings, please hit me up! I live in Campbell. Have gear for salmon so would be down to try it too, but I should get comfortable on the ocean first.
I'm familiar with rockfishing and salmon fishing from going on boats and charters, just not on a kayak.
Thanks for reading guys :)
