I have the Kokatat 3L fisherman drysuit for around 3 years. The garment was de-laminated.
I sent it for warranty evaluation. They sent me back a new one.  :smt007 :smt007

I took mine to them with delamination - they said it's worn out and didn't offer any warranty.

Eric, could this be it? Reasonable life.
In my case, I e-mailed them the photos before shipping out.

I’ve got the Kokatat “Surge” which has been discontinued. I’ve sent it in for routine maintenance twice, and both times they replaced the zipper at no charge. Really impressive customer support in my experience.

I think this is the delamination issue, right?

I've never felt like this issue led to a change in how I use the suit, and I wasn't looking to slam Kokatat's warranty coverage - just offering some other info on the subject.  I use my gear very hard and wash it every time.  My two drysuits are both pretty beat, but I don't think I caused the delamination in any way.

So should I get coverage too?

I mean they’re the experts, and they say no,  we are your friends asking us is like asking for a yes.  Sounds like you feel like you were treated unfavorably LolitaEric.  My two cents I don’t think breathable fabrics benefit from being laundered that often,  sounds like possibly hundreds of times.  Like some of the other posters I used mine for many hundreds of hours  and was covered for a delamination issue I didn’t even see.

Seems like their warranty service is spotty. - I tend to have the worst luck when it comes to customer service I have the gore-tex bibs and they were waterproof for the first 1.5 years. Sent it in for service and was charged for patches in the socks. 2 years later, send it in again and they want to charge $180 or so to replace the socks. I still have the tag that says that you can return it at anytime if you're unsatisfied but lost the receipt years ago.

I wished that they would have tried patching it at least the 2nd time.

I just meant with the hose!

I'm not asking for a yes, I'm just saying the warranty isn't applicable across the board.

I do wonder what the delamination issue is.  Does my photo show it?  If that's it, does it affect performance?
