Has anyone mounted a totalscan transducer in a through-hull design?  I have my downscan transducer mounted inside the hull and it works fine as there is always a layer of water in my kayak (tandem island).  I'm thinking of upgrading to totalscan for this year, but I'm worried the thru-hull design won't work and I'll have to figure out a different way to mount it.  I have an older tandem island so it is not "lowrance-ready".

I have a Lowrance Hook 2 Tripleshot mounted on my Revo 13(2016).  The transducer is mounted underneath via  a Berley Pro mount seen here  https://www.austinkayak.com/BerleyPro-Lowrance-Triple-Shot-Ready-Transducer-Mount/ACK26657P.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping:%20ACK%20PLA&adpos=1o1&scid=scplp26657_18823_1&sc_intid=26657_18823_1&gclid=CjwKCAjwg-DpBRBbEiwAEV1_-Dpug-4PEiuqQiQ4AV1pGCueUQ-hJNtKNV5ZQJjwlIIiHb-1n1l75xoCWu8QAvD_BwE

Personally, if I wouldn't purchase this particular FF setup again.  I mainly fish the ocean and the SF Bay and have no need for side-scan.
