I have a Scupper Pro I recently got off craigslist, and it has a round flat mounting point in front of the seat well. Unfortunately, a standard Scotty deck mount is too long and doesn't fit. The round flush mount looks to be about the exact diameter of the mounting point, so I'm worried it'll be too big.

Are there any other good compact yet sturdy options, solid enough for salmon trolling?
Thanks,
Andrew

Scotty #444 might be what you're looking for - it's a round flush deck mount, 2" in diameter. It is basically a bulkhead fitting, if you know what those are, with a Scotty socket; so no hardware required. I have one and like it.

I went with the 344. Fits perfectly!

Those are such sweet little kayaks.  If I were only skinnier...
