Google's satellite view shows an old cement ramp at the north tip of the island behind the small jetty. Not sure what the access is like from land. Good luck!

Cheers,
Brad
used that ramp last year when the ghosts were under the barges.

Launch works when tides are high, lower tides reveal the ramp stops short.
I wound up having a real challenging time getting my boat back out of the water the day I launched it...that said, i would do it again for a shot at WSB. Most boats that reported catching wsb used live anchovies and fished near the barges.
You mean mud or stairs or tide oddities of current?
“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”

Smooth concrete of the ramp just stops (wish  could remember the tides for that day so i could estimate what tide heights are good to go vs. too low for a comfortable launch) and the rip rap takes over. If I recall, I was contending with about 2.5 feet of stacked rip rap rocks and concrete. Water was shallow enough to stand I believe and I was able to just haul my shit up and climb up afterwards

Emeryville!
Yup, bit of a schlep but might be the option to North TI

Can also do Cal sailing club or the normal boat launch at Berkeley Marina but might be more of a fight across the wind on the way home. I have a bit of experience at both Emeryville and Berkeley.

Interested as well let me know if/when you want to go.
Oooo buddy system action... :smt006

Totally....
assuming time, date and such align well.

Live bait might be at Berkeley, not sure.?

Emeryville kite board launch is not great but another option is park at the boat launch, its just a longer peddle/paddle to get out the harbor.

Hey Tsuri,
From what I heard, the Berkeley live bait is no longer in business.

Another launch I've wanted to try is the toll booth beach.  Is pretty close to the barges but at low tide, it's a mud walk.
