Headed up to Mammoth Pools tomorrow to try my luck with the trout.  Don't expect much traffic on lake (if any).
If anyone is interested, I plan on being on water by 7:00am.

Hahaha When you left your wife and two small kids for 4 days last weekend to fish Pyramid lake, ya gotta take a break, especially for Easter [emoji12]

Went to Shaver Lake with my brother and caught two browns. He caught one rainbow. We used fly rods in Outbacks.

Got skunked....fish finder crapped out on me. Trolled on top and tried from shore with no bites.  Lake is at capacity and overflowing spillway which is pretty impressive.  Water was like glass the whole time there.  Pretty much had the place to myself.  Only four trailers when I left.  I did seen what fish landed...by an osprey i believe...I'll be back.  End of 2017 edison pretty much drained lake to upgrade sensors at the dam which resulted in a lot of fish dying off...planted over 10000lbs last year to help lake recover...

thanks for the local report. Ya bummer when I saw and read about Mammoth Pool being drained and all the fish was in a puddle of water. So sad...some where huge!!

see you on the water :)

Anyone can fish pyramid, just need a license from the tribe.  You can buy a daily license.  No Nevada fishing license needed.
