My name is Casey. Im 24 and live in the Sacramento area. I bought my very first fishing Kayak back in October 2018. I went with the Old Town Topwater PDL  after way too much research. I love it so far, have been out a handful of times and its starting to get easier the more I go. Car topping this kayak is an exercise in itself, but I love the escape that being on the water offers. if anyone in the area ever wants to group up let me know, always looking to meet more people and learn from anyone willing to teach. ( No pictures since ive skunked every time ive gone out haha)

Nice choice on the yak.  Are you trying to fish around Sacramento, or do you hit the coast with the new rig?

I plan on taking it all over. I have it on top of my car and I have always been paranoid about having it fly off. So a 2 hour drive to the bay on the freeway scares me a bit.
