I only captured a few images and stoked you, HoJoMan and Eric took photos.  Here is the link to my images.  I will repost this info to the Gyotaku thread.  https://www.facebook.com/brandi.easter/media_set?set=a.10218013633506964&type=3

Thanks again for making the journey to help out with the Gyotaku Extravaganza!  MUCH appreciated!!

Great bunch of people! Adverse conditions made it quite an adventure. Didn't bring the kayaks this year but came over to help with the Gyotaku and had a great time. Love the looks on the peoples faces when they pulled their paper or shirts off the fish! "Wow, that turned out neat!". Great to see old friends and make some new ones. People made it out on the water today. No salmon love for me only some ling cods and a greenling.

So thankful for some time on the water after how bad it's been, but it was still bad today.  Glad it was at least fishable, but I don't want people to think they missed out on a "good day" weather- or bite-wise.

It's still rough out there, and the salmon aren't biting - only the powerboats got some today, but only slivers and shakers.

Several yaks tried for salmon, and plenty of rockfish and lingcod were caught - bite still not great though.

I spent some hours trying for chrome, got a consolation prize.   :smt001

Made to the tournament but was not able to make it on the water. Still had a great time at Shelter Cove. See all of you again next year. Thanks Eric for all of the hard work you put into this event.

Here's one...
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Finally got to do some fishing today.🎣🙂 Caught some nice size perches off the jetty!  Thank you Tim for the shrimp!   Less than 20 minutes on the jetty and you got a story to tell!

Thanks Quan for the assistant landing of that pair of perch after my rod broke and the weight got stuck in the rocks, Hope they taste as great as it was to catch them  :smt001. Glad to see the gifted shrimp worked out for you and Joe. We just happened to hit the hot bite. Thanks for posting the pictures.

A couple of pics to share. We had such a great time despite the weather. Thank you Stockwell's and Brandi and all the other volunteers. Thank you to all that donated raffle prizes for the fundraiser for Shelter Cove.

We will rebuild

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rebuild we did!  Herb, Dan and I got drenched repairing this, but we got it done!!  Herb's duct tape and rope saved the day.  Also, thanks to Joe for letting us salvage/steal his broken canopy!  No thanks to Ariel for pointing us in the wrong direction!  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044
