Hi NCKA members,

I’m JC new in the group of kayakers. I just bought my kayak today, landing on Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 after my research and patience looking for one available and finally, after 3 hours drive I maked a deal.
Living in Benicia seems great idea to enjoy the little bay and catch some fish but first I need to set up the Kayak slowly.

Have a great evening!

Welcome to the madness JC  :smt006  I used to live in Benicia for 20+ years.  Love that place!

Welcome. Lots of good info here on how to rig your kayak...
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

Thank you all, I’m rigging my kayak and learning a lot in the process. For example today I discovered the ‘well nuts’ very useful things when is not possible to reach a location of the kayak from inside. Painful lesson but lessons at the end helped.

I use well nuts for every hole I drill. Since they wont leak and have a strong hold it makes them ideal way to go.
