I'd be there, but my Niece's wedding is that day.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

If the salmon bite continues (It's Hot!) entrants might consider paddling to 200 feet out towards the big red buoy.  Fish come around that Pt Pinos corner as they enter the bay. We've done well there before in prior years. Check reports/  Also a good spot for WSB (If they are there at all.....Just a thought.....Sign up!)

Thanks Eugene!!!  MBK are great people and a great shop.  I believe they maintain NCKA discount as well....?  Don't forget there will be Mooch's Man-Dogs and this year the manger Adam has shopped around with other retailers (West Marine, Tackle Box, etc) and gathered prizes and giveaways.  I may very well have Ocean Kayak/Old town shirts and hats as well.

Oh yeah, found it in the classifieds sticky post:

Monterey Bay Kayaks, 10% off ... http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=28418.0

Sign ups on the "Day of Event" are OK.  Adam will be in the shop at 6am.  Rules/Safety talk is at 6:45am. Monte Carlo launch is at 7am. Weigh in cutoff is noon.  (Be in line by noon or you are too late)

So, I call my sister in Monterey, where my Van and kayak is being stored. I tell my sisters that Theres a Derby at MBK that I plan on participating and that I need to come over and prepare my van and kayak. She said okay but the rear roof rack bar had fallen off😳 I said no problem I’ll just re-install it. Well I get there with my tools and realize that the cleats that holds it on the roof are missing....so, I’m on crunch time to find some replacement parts or I’m going to be like agarcia...and be on status as an EX-KAYAKER😟 Anybody have-any spare parts for Thule racks?
