Hey Stone, just curious what material you are using.  I have a vinyl cutter and intermediate grade vinyl.  Wondering how well it sticks to HDPE kayaks.  Are you using something similar?

Nothing super special or commercial just what I can use in the Cricut machine that’s affordable

Permanent Adhesive Backed Matte Vinyl Sheets by EZ Craft USA - 12” x 12” - 40 Matt... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076QJYPRW/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_PwasCbJB02BMB

It went on well we will see how well it holds up. First test Crabfest 🤪

Cheers

MooMoo Outdoors has a recent video on Youtube from a windy day out there. I am hoping they got the invitation I sent out and arrive just in time for the party.

Life happens and I won’t be making it this year. Wanted to see if someone could pick up a sweatshirt I ordered and NCKA express it back to me.

I'll grab it...
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Just a friendly reminder, crabbing is not necessary for this event. If the conditions or weather make you feel uncomfortable, please do not go out. For those that registered, you can still win the kayak even if you don’t go out, all you have to do is check in by 9 AM.

If you feel uncomfortable launching from the Jetty, you can launch from the boat launch and fish inside the harbor. Just make sure you check in the morning of and don’t drop traps in the boat channel.

All registered participants must check in and get a wristband prior to 9 AM.

I seen plenty of crab pulled from the harbor . .Yes , please keep crab traps out of center of boat channel.

I will be out in my 15 foot Aluminum Friday and Saturday. If anyone is in need of help on the water , you can reach me on the radio. 2 crab minimum per tow in.  :smt003 Kidding.

Looking forward to such a great event..

From Simplycooks report today, it sounds like the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife will be there this weekend. They have been there in the past, so make sure to follow all DFW rules and regulations. In years past we haven’t had any issues, but remember it is your responsibility to know the rules.

Also, remember to measure your crab prior to landing on the beach. It is against DFW rules to measure your crabs on land.
