Just picked one up before the crab opener at Doran. Loved it. Stable, fast, and turns on a dime. What totally sucks is the rudder placement. Very exposed. I use the protection device for loading and unloading but come on....I can’t even drag it on the sand without burying it up to 2 inches deep.

That's interesting about the rudder.  I've been looking at the older Outbacks on sale and I wondered if the rudder placement on the new one was worth just buying a 2019.  I drag my current yak on the sand every trip- it's not like I land on my cart.  Long term durability of the rudder may be something to think about, and may increase the relative value of used Outbacks.  Thanks for sharing.
