Ok, putting this out there.  I likely will need a 20 foot CC on a perfect trailer towed from salt lake to the bay area on or about Oct 15th.

you get it close and i'll come pick it up.

I'm thinking $500 for your troubles, but make me an offer.

Not sure where in 'bay area' but from Oakland to SLC is about 750 miles each way, 11.5 hours drive.  Round trip is 1500 miles.  I have a diesel truck gets 15mpg empty and 14mpg towing.  Diesel is about $4 a gallon.  $200 in fuel there and $215 return for at least $415 in fuel alone.  23 hour drive time, figure 3 days with a one night layover in SLC.  Wear/tear on tires, oil, meals, 1 night in a hotel in SLC on the layover, the expenses alone total over $500.

If anyone is going to Colorado for mid elk season it’s a good way to cover your fuel expenses on the way home maybe. I have some friends going mid October I can’t remember if they take one rig or two but I will find out if they are interested if you like
