Nice one, Jae!  'got a 27" in front of Stinson earlier this month, about 18 lbs.  Not as big as sandlace's 34 1/2, but I bet my smile is just as big as his :smt005

Sorry, not 18 lbs, 11lbs, nice and plump.

That sounds more like it  :smt001
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

Nice work.  How far off the beach?  Since you say Stinson I'm assuming you were close to the beach, as opposed to out by the buoy.

Probably 1/2 mile off the beach.

That is good stuff.  Short lived yet super close.  Amazing and what fun!

awesome!! hopefully you have recorded some videos?

how's the launch at stinson beach?

No videos this time as I left the GoPro at home. I do need to start filming again. As for the launch, We didn’t launch out of Stinson we came out of bolinas and got blasted a bit going out but coming in wasn’t that bad.

Bro, you missed the info on the 1st page.
Going Fishing?
Winds from the south, hook in
    the mouth.
Wind from the east, bite the least.
Wind from the north, further off.
Wind from the west, bite the
    best.

You had some sweet tides that day even the hapless Rroland could of caught one!   :smt005  This weekend's tide are looking pretty steep  :smt012

Where did you launch from?

I've launched from Stinson.  2 options, one is to pull into main lot and hang a right and go to the far northern section of the parking lot/beach, then launch from anywhere north of the dividing line between the GGNRA part of the beach where the rangers are (south side, rangers/lifeguards don't like kayaks mixing with all the waders/swimmers), and the county part of the beach where dogs are  allowed (north side).  Can be crowded here though, so option #2 is better - park just before the Seadrift gates and use the short public walkway down to the uncrowded beach.  Plenty of parking on the street if you get there early, like before 10!  About a quarter mile south of main Sinson entrance is Calle Del Arroyo, follow that until it ends at Seadrift gate.

Looks like that picture is inside the Seadrift gate.  Check out my post above.

You wont get to that highlighted area. Seadrift is a gated community.
