Just joined and looking forward to meeting fellow kayakers in the Bay Area and sharing knowledge and hopefully learning a few new things. If you are in and around Walnut Creek, cast a line in my direction!

hey Sean, welcome! I'm WC way too! I just got my yak a few weeks back and been on water once so far but keen to learn and meet other fellows. I usually fish reservoirs near us or hit the delta and fish for bass.  Will send you a PM, let's see if we can make something work!
Bass guy, usually off rented jon boats at reservoirs or backseat on delta. Hoping to get kayak to open up possibilities!

Welcome to the group. What kind of fishing do you want to do?

Thanks for welcoming! I currently am fishing for halibut at Alameda. I also have been targeting stripers in delta and soon salmon. I am not opposed to fishing reservoirs but the ones in the East bay have been so choked with algae that I have not fished them much.
