chimney work

Any members here know of a trustworthy chimney service in the bay area?  I've had a couple people (found on yelp) come give differing diagnosis and I wanted to hear from someone referred.

Bot in your neck of the woods. Just had one done on the house we are buying.
It passed fine. It was $125 for a cleaning and inspection.
I will have to put a new spark arrester on it when we move in.
Do you think there is damage to the inside?

Yeah, had solar and new roof put in two years ago but saw stains on ceiling last year.  There's a leak and roofer said it was from chimney.  Had two chimney guys come out and one suggests a total rebuild, the other suggested water proofing but wants to charge $1K for a 30"x30" SS chase cover.  That just sounds exorbitant.

You can do a lot with old Henry's and a few pieces of sheet metal

If the roofs still under warranty “of course” it’s the chimney...... chimney guys just want your money !!! Everyone just wants your money these days!!!! ..... you need my address to send some too?? 

That sucks, we had a flashing on our chimney leak when we owned a house in town, surprisingly easy to fix.. YOU CAN DO IT!
