Nice haul. I've got to get up there sometime. How did the king crab taste?
Going to cook it up tonight, but the ones I have had in the past are firm and sort of sweet. Overall they are great eating.

I'm curious about that crab too? I'm not.much of a gourmet and tend to think all crab meat is the same even though getting through the shell can be very different for different species.
But channel your inner BigJim and give us the foodie feedback on that crab pls

My wife made gumbo with dungeness, shrimp, vermillion, lingcod, sausage, and okra. Pretty damn good. We had the king crab and more dungies in a cold marinade consisting of olive oil, balsamic, parsley, and garlic. The king crab is definitely firmer and sweeter. Everything came out great.
