It sounds like you have lots of info, and are improving.

I had success with a prescription cream, called Fluocinonide...much stronger than Cortaid, or other OTC products. Poison Oak is a bit deceiving, because you feel that the worst is over, and that tomorrow will be much better...but the symptoms persist quite a while. All I can say is, get thee to a doctor, and hit it with the strong stuff...steroids.
