Harvey St. launch 8 a.m. this morn.  No wind, swell still up. Fished around 100 yds out.  Not 1 bite for over an hour.

Started working my way out fishing along the way.  Ended up around 1+ mile out, current super strong off the reef outside. After another hour caught a 22" Ling & then had 1 only other bite.

Not good fishing. Hopefully will improve with the wind backing down.  South swell not showing yet. I believe i read the windswell should continue to subside.

that's a bummer.  Littoral and i  fished harvey last sat. with almost identical results, and then I fished leffingwell last sun with almost no action either, i wonder what's going on?   I can't remember when I had two days like that and now you a few days later.

"in my humble opinion" i think it's the combo of the wind & swell stirring up the bottom.

i remember some days last year where the surf was near flat for a few days & the wind was down also & the fishing is on fire.  i've also gone out during a good sized long-period south swell & not had a bite.  the wind is laying down & the windswell should back off a little also, i'm probably going to try again friday a.m.

we'll see.

Bummer to hear it is slow. I am still coming to town and fishing this weekend. Hopefully things will pick up.

I'm hitting it tomorrow but further north.  Hopefully I'll be able to report better results.
