Fish & Ab combo @ Shelter Cove on 26th & 27th

Seriously thinking about a combo Salmon fishing and Ab diving this holiday weekend in Shelter Cove.  Anyone interested?  Need to know since my wife doesn't want me to dive alone!

Hey, Sonny!  I haven't heard much about a salmon bite down there since two Fridays ago, and the wind is forecast to be up, but northerly.  You should have some good morning water for trolling the Bell area.  The swell is forecast to be quite reasonable.  I may try to sneak down there for a morning troll one of the weekend days, but I'm also inclined to wait a few more days until rockfishing opens there on June 1.  Good luck if you go.  If you get a word from Lyle about the salmon bite let me know please.

I'm looking forward to another trip down to Shelter Cove Sonny, but like Abking I'm waiting for rockfish season to open there. I'll be sitting at Trinidad all day on Saturday renting MALIBU yaks and fishing in the morning. Last chance at some dungees for the season!

I think both of you are right.  It should be better to wait until the rockfish season open then we can have the "trio": Abalone, Rockfish, and Salmon fishing 

Maybe I'll join insaneduane at the Alameda rockwall on Saturday!

Right on.  Let us know when you're coming up in June.  I anticipate at least one more good NCKA gathering at the Cove this year.
