So a few guides who got out of a meeting just posted this morning the new salmon regs for the Sac River Salmon season. The daily limit has changed from 2 to 1 salmon. At least there will still be a season to salvage for the Sac/delta region this year.

Is there a link somewhere to the new regulation for the Sac River? I've only been able to find the ocean Salmon regulations this year. Thanks.

I would think if it was just revealed in a meeting, the link won’t be up for a while.

They posted the valley regs the same day with the ocean regs.

The traditional July 16th opener remains just the daily limit will be 1 and total possession of 2. Already fish moving thru the Sac and Moke rivers.

Hi. I called dfg and they clarified the salmon card requirement. The person at dfg was really nice and answered my questions. I was really surprised by how nice and helpful he was.

I assume the answer was "no salmon card required".

Sorry I didn’t answer the question but no report card is needed to fish for chinook salmon in the sac river.
