I talked to the owner of this one, and he said it is a 2007 model. Is $1400 a bit high for 11 year old kayak?

I think it's little steep for 2007.

Thanks for the tips guys. I don't mind spending some money on a nice yak, but at the same time I want it to be reasonable. I will probably skip this one since I don't want him to think that I am low balling him .

Like I said before, if you are willing to wait, you will find the best deal here. Its just a matter of beating that Sailfish (Sonny) guy . He is quick on the draw.  From time to time, you will get lucky.
