Anyone see this article about the 70 year-old guy who kayaked solo across the Atlantic?  Long read, totally engrossing.  It took 143+ days in what looks like a very small boat with a spray skirt and a paddle.  And it was his third trip.

Really edge-of-life stuff happened, including one incident that spawned this description from the writer, "Doba returned to his cabin somewhat shocked to be alive."

Great article. I like the end, where he says he has no plans for a 4th kayak trip across the Atlantic, and then adds, “But I do like to sail.”
