Got out of the harbor at 6:30, minus tide, high thin overcast, no wind,  Went straight out and a little to east of Mile Buoy, dropped plastic squid with metal flasher at 45 ft, got a couple small rockies and one med blue, all released.  Moved out and further east and switched to squid on one pole and dead anchovy on other.  Tried to make bait earlier, but not much showing.  Kept moving while drifting. No hits at all.  Weather stayed nice until after I got in at 12, a little bouncy in the short swell, not bad , and the sun warmed things up.  The Coastside NWS site had actually increased the predicted wind from last nite until this morning, but it didn't show up near SC.  About 10 boats out in the same area I was in, one of them a wave runner with net, etc.
