Aquan Sports will be celebrating the Grand Opening of the Aquan
Sports Boat House at the Parkside Aquatics Park in San Mateo on May
26th and 27th from 10:00-4:00. Situated on 4.5 miles of protected
lagoon, this gorgeous park offers picnic tables, BBQs, kid’s play
area, sandy beach, and now kayak rentals!
Grand opening festivities include reps from some of the top kayak
manufacturers on site with free kayak demo’s, BBQ, clinics, and more.
After checking out the Boat House, swing by Aquan’s main store for
huge savings during our Memorial Weekend Sale!

This is a FREE event
NCKA will be there on Saturday the 26th to promote our sport - swing by and say hello.  I (and possibly Chuck) will be present to answer any questions.

OK, Joel. Gotta ask. New Prowler 15 available at that time? If I get one, maybe I'll name it Baby Huey instead of Hojoman.  :smt003

Joel, let's not confuse everyone.  There is indeed a new Prowler 15 out this year, but it's cosmetic tweaks on the old hull, most notably a recessed transducer mount area on a rear scupper.

Regarding another new yak ... I know nuthin.   :smt002

that's a negatory brother...Vince is looking into carrying another kayak brand and I've been pushing him hard to get WS......I'm hoping he considers it.

There was a guy at the Fred Hall show who had all the Hobie accessories.  Said he'd give NCKA'ers a discount too if I remember correctly.  I got his card because I was interested in upgrading to the flip-top hatch...I'll see if I can dig it up after I get home.

Kevin,
I got mine from Wind Toys in Santa Rosa, which is a bit far for you, but you can order them online.  Kayak Fishing Stuff (KFS) has them for $15 each.
