Trailers & Campers for kayaks (with pics)

Plan A - Was going for the 'double-stacked' approach so I can bring along the trail bike or dirt bike; however, encounter more wobbling than I wanted.

So I went to 'Plan B'; side-by-side with the rack mounted directly to the frame. But the bike stays home, bummer!

Ok. It's time to unveil the new trailer. It had it's maiden voyage at the HOW event on Fri. My wife told me to keep the kayaks out of the motorhome. Here is a brief, but picture filled way to keep them out.

This thing worked well 1st time out. Found a couple things I want to change or upgrade. Will add BBQ and table someday.

I know you've been working in it for awhile, how long did it end of taking you?

While it's not exact, it looks similar to Danglin's trailer.  Is it the same frame?  Did you pattern it after his?

I should have thanked Danglin and Tote for the inspiration. It is the same frame as Danglin and Totes. It took a while because I did not work on it too often. I could whip one out pretty quick if I wanted to.

The stickers came from Ebay.

Can't tell you to the penny right now, but it was around $850 for everything. Trailer, registration, boxes, yak hauling stuff, storage boxes, nuts and bolts, paint, spare tire, and everything else.

Nice yak hauler! Now I have some new ideas to incorporate into mine when it gets over-hauled after GS5...
