Crabfest 2018

Is Crabfest an annual event?  Had a great time last year and hoping its back again.  Whoever puts it on, feel free to give me a call if you need some help.  I'll be bringing the RV if I can get my hands on a spot.

There are sites available in the park but the Jetty sold out by early summer.

Yes, Crabfest is an annual event. This will be the 7th year of Crabfest at Doran Beach. The first year was at HMB. Glad to hear you had a fun time, it is always a nice way to start off the year.

I haven't had much time to get things going, but I have the logo, so that is a start. The main thing I need to work on is donations from kayak fishing companies. This event has always been free and I am trying to keep it that way.

Reserve a site in Gull, shell area... still 7-8 left... Reserve one today! # 42 and 45 are available and good! #54 is 27X 10 and beach front!!!  Still some 16 odd sites available... Don't wait though. These must have been cancellations 'cause they were not available last month (fires?)

I agree, reserve a site and if a better site becomes available call the park and they will exchange it for a $10.00 fee.

secure a site now while they are available, worse case you have a camp site and may have to drive to day use parking while the tournament is going on.

My wife and I have our campsite booked!  We are in 55 and can't wait.  This will be our second time coming and look forward to meeting more folks.
