Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead

Well done EK & Bsteves!!  :smt038 That logo kicks ass!!  :smt041

One last bit of advice before it goes to final production, see if you can get another bolder font for NCKA.org.
That way it will seperate itself from the rest of the design and NCKA will be more recognizable.

Thanks Z, and thanks for the adive.  I think we might have to go with another font in general depending on how and where Bill is going to have these printed.  In particular spreadshirt.com's plot printing requires everything to be at least 1/16" thick and the border around the text isn't that thick.  This might also mean some slight modifications to the ling and reel, but I promise the general design and tone will not change.

And to everyone who voted for #5, thanks.  I'm really thought it would be a much closer race.  I think all of the designs were great and I would have been proud of any of them as our site's logo.  But being the "icthyophile" that I am, I'm excited that this ling is the site logo.  I'd also like to thank Erik again for helping me out, his skull logo really inspired the overall layout and he was instrumental in refining the logo from my early designs.

Bill let me know what you need from me now so that we can get some decals and shirts made.

Um, if our logos and stickers say "NCKA.ORG" or "NorcalKayakAnglers.com", we should probably have it set up so that someone will get here if they type that into their URL bar.  Right now either of those require a WWW at the front.  I thought the page was busted for like a week because my links were broken when WWW became manditory...

Of all the classy, clean logos to choose from- this hideous thing gets picked?  How is the club supposed to be taken seriously?

You ARE kidding right?  If not, I suggest you might be more comfortable with www.prepschoolflyfishers.com, or perhaps www.allmytasteisinmymouth.org

Z may have said it best.

Cheers!

I believe that we have a majority that clearly thinks otherwise.
