Simply is a kayak fishing tournament held at Ocean Cove in Sept.

Thanks for the info but as a whole NCKA refers to chills or gatherings as hookups. I really do appreciate the nomenclature tip though.

He's right, "herf" is in common use in some cigar circles. It's kind of a dumb word tho.  Won't catch me using it.

I know its Labor Day weekend, but I will be going to "The Cave", in Livermore, on Sat 9/2 at 6pm. Its a cool cigar shop in Downtown Livermore. Their is a ton of restaurants around as well; almost all are great! Post up if you want to join me. If you want to eat and have some great beers before the hook-up, First Street Ale House is great and its about 100 yards form The Cave. If there is enough interest, Ill call and see if The Cave can hook us up with some deals!!

This is exactly how I envisioned this group evolving. The gatherings can take place anywhere. At tourneys, fishing/diving hookups, spontaneous and or planned chills like what you are suggesting Bill.

Swishers, Backwoods or Cubanos we don't discriminate.

It's about spending quality time with our extended family while enjoying a smoke. 

If you guys ever venture to southern Oregon cigar cave in grants pass and Medford have great gatherings. Let me know if you are up here and interested.

If you want to smoke weed Oregon is pretty conducive to that.
