You might want to check out Allen "PolePole"' s sister forum to this one...

http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com

Allen spends time in both Seattle and the Bay Area and started that site for Kayak Anlgers in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia.

The NWKA site is still small but full of local knowledge.  If you have general (non-location specific questions) NorCal Kayak Anglers is a great site to check out so don't run off and not come back.

Howdy Fulltimenut-

Hopefully Bill won't mind my poaching you from this site :smt003, but there's a spawn of his board at http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/bb/index.php There's getting to be a good sized contingent from OR logging on, and much more action there, than here.

IMHO, Oregon has a lot of untapped potential. I have in-laws in PDX and usually get to the coast once or twice a year.

Fulltimer:  I'm near Eureka on the far northern Cali coast.  I sometimes travel up to Crescent City and Brookings for work and am very interested in fishing the southern OR coast.  PM me any time, and also get in touch if you're coming down to Humboldt.  I'm almost exclusively salt, targetting salmon, lingcod, rockfish, abalone, and I hope to get a halibut this year.
