Getting started with Ocean kayak fishing

Hello,
My name is Russ Forbes and I am new to kayak fishing, or should I say new to starting kayak fishing. My sons and I have fished quite a bit over the years and now we live in Aptos and are very excited to get out on the water.
That said, I am looking for a kayak and some fisherman to go out and learn the waters and find the spots to go! I look forward to joining the community and catching some fish

You should talk to Bushy, as he is the expert on fishing in and around Santa Cruz. I'm pretty sure that he can read fishes minds.

That's good advice for sure.

And regarding a kayak to purchase - you should consider trying out as many models as you can before you pull the trigger.
