Watch tide - high tide makes it hard to launch or land in the south end (see 2nd video), where it's usually calmer. That launch place also has several pretty bad rocks, hard to see - I usually land near red house.

With swell less than 4ft and long periods I've never had problems there, though once had to cancel (was with a newbie)

Linda Mar can be messy on the way back in but if needed you could probably land on the rocks to the South and recruit your buddies to help haul you junk up the small cliff. This is also the place I learned from an older fellow who fished there ofter how to come in to the beach landing backwards.

Worst I had it there rolled, got everything straightened out and as I was celebrating yak got rolled again on to rocks and snapped my Penn 525 mag off the rod never to be seen again......

So Sunday?

Yeah I'm going with crazy on sunday and troll around the area. Would love to have your company. Gonna keep gear to a minimum if possible.

Fleet is just south of mussel rock. I don't think I'm going that far but the I'm sure the chrome are moving back and forth through the area. It's cold and blowing today so hopefully it's better tomorrow. I attached some photos that I took near Pacifica looking over and scouting the area.

Looks doable.  Kinda like a la jolla launch with the double breaks.  There is bait right outside the breakers  and birds diving. ...outside is sloppy.

Victor,

Looks like we may have high jacked your hookup or proposed a scouting mission depending on how you want to look at it.

Guessing best launch is South end of LM....hella early?

All good, keep the scout info coming.  'luv to come, but didn't get a blessing :(  Good luck tomorrow, boys!  Be safe.  Swell just picked up compared to last night's report. 3-5, windy too.   That fog though, perfect condition for salmon fishing.

If it had been as nice as it looks in that video it would have been more fun than it was. No fish but we made it back to shore with limited losses.

Glad you came back OK, that looked pretty gnarly for yak launch.  Thanks for the follow up!

That doesn't look mellow at all.
