Hey Slackwater, I lose a lot of Rapalas (and every other kind of lure), and at $9.95 a pop it makes fishing expensive for me. I noticed that aliexpress (alibaba) sells cheap chinese lures... rapala knockoffs for a couple bucks ea, free shipping. Sometimes crazy colors that should be repainted.  Are these, or has someone tested those lures and repainted 'em?  I"m thinking they probably have cheapo hooks and no wire inside, so a person could lose a big fish, but other than that, is there a reason we buy them at the bait shop for $10 ea instead of from the internet?

I just purchase what ever I can by the bundle repainted if I have too these seem cool reminds me of daiwa sp minnows...good enough to dog walk.
