Natural Bridges Beach launch okay?

Does anyone know if it's okay to launch a kayak from Natural Bridges beach in Santa Cruz? I like to go fishing for lingcod and rockfish near there and it would be very convenient

Never done it, but I've heard that you can launch there.

I have launched from Mitchell's Cove (difficult to manage the stairs) and Four Mile Beach (fairly long haul to the water), so those are certainly options.

I once asked the gate people this same question.  They said no.    As Nowhereman said, use Mitchell's Cove.  Its a nicer launch anyway. Natty is too "dumpy" and too crowded with attractive young coeds.
