I'm looking to replace my broken shoulder straps (plastics swivel snaps died) on my dive tube. Our local dive shop closed - any ideas for a quick online purchase?

If you need it yesterday, you can try one of those brass swivels used on kayak seats. Should be able to find them at any hardware store.

Good quick-fix idea, Tim, thanks. I may wee do that if I can't find a new strap source

Thanks, Mike!
I may need to buy some delrin snaps and webbing and just make them, I haven't found the type I want online.

John,
Don't no if this can help you, I used some Winchester neoprene
Gun slings I put on a board I made. They were about $8 a piece.
Can't really see them with my black suit and dive belt.
I'll take some pictures when I get home and pm them to you.
Got them at Walmart.

Everyone is itching to go out.  You don't need straps on your kayak.  Paddle or pedal to a secret spot and jump in.

Ah, you're right!

I do some diving from shore with a friend who doesn't do kayaking well, the sitting is too hard on his back. He's working on it.

Have him check out a wilderness tarpon or thresher. Those seats have excellent back support. Since I messed mine up recently, I lower the backrest all the way down and it gives great lower back support.

Good idea, I'll mention that to him, Ken!

The new straps came in yesterday afternoon:
