Late report Lake Ralphine Santa Rosa 4/4

Picked up my 5 year old daughter after school and went out on the kayak at Lake Ralphine with some flys and clear bubble.  Paddled down to the East end of the Lake and found some trout on the surface.  Gave it about 20 minutes and she got bored and wanted to go play.  Paddled back to the ramp and headed for the playground for an hour.  NEXT TIME play first, fish second.  I went in when she got bored because I didn't want it to be a negative experience for her.  I know they are catching fish because my buddy hooked about 25 with his 2 girls last weekend.  The real bummer was they just poisoned the lake with an herbicide this week to kill the plant growth.  I don't think I want to eat the trout now anyway.  We had a good time, just hanging out spending time together.  I need to get my daughter hanging out with SCWAFISH's kids more.  Good luck on the salmon opener you guys.

Any effort with the Little ones is worth it. She may not even remember it but she did Learn from it. Nice effort!
