I don't think you're the only one. They had a surprise cutoff. I've been sick and missed registration. I hope to go and fish for fun anyway.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

Huh?  The first post and even the title of the thread listed June 5th as the cut-off date pretty much since it was posted...

It doesn't say that now so I can't read it. Are you thinking about the registration with t-shirt cut off. I was told that the plan had been to register until the Friday before the event so I think we're talking two different cutoff dates. Nothing to get excited about. We can still attend, fish and have fun.

Ah! I believe you are correct.

I didn't register because I wasn't sure if I was gonna be in town or not, but I'm definitely showing up to fish and kick it with my dudes.

Weather looks like it's going to be sunny and warm (60-80 degrees). Might get a little choppy in the afternoon though. Can't wait to meet everyone out there!

To: Registered Participants
From: ARW tournament committee

The tournament organizing committee thanks you for registering for the ARW tournament, and we look forward to seeing everyone on June 17, 2017.  Here are a few items to keep in mind before and on tournament day.

SAFETY

Safety is the top concern for us. We want to make sure everyone has a great time and come home safely. Remember to bring a functioning PFD, and VHF radio--these are mandatory items for the event. The personal floatation device must be worn at all times during the course of the event, and channel 69 is the designated communication frequency for the VHF. Please keep the channel clear for emergency communication.

WAIVERS
All participants must sign the mandatory safety waiver before launch. Jon (Crazyfisher) will be handling registration on event day.

Parking & Launch
There is limited parking space at the Encinal parking lot.  We recommend carpooling with a friend if possible, and arrive early for the event.  Participants can park in the designated parking spots and along the chain-fenced wall.

Participants can launch at the boat launch or the beach adjacent to the rock wall. Please keep one lane open for boaters.

PIF Raffle
Don’t leave right after 2 p.m. ,there is a great lunch prepared and the Pay it Forward raffle! Many of our generous sponsored have provided great prizes for the raffle.  Remember all the funds generated from the event will be donated to help support victims and supporters of cancer—our fellow friends.

RAFFLE TICKETS will be sold at the event and will be CASH ONLY.

Once again thanks for registering and we look forward to a great event!
