PIF is donating $ right now to her family to help with costs associated with her stay in the hospital, and we will do what we can to help as her status progresses and changes...

Couple ways to donate to the PIF fund (for anyone who may be unfamiliar with PIF):

1. AOTY/DOTY registration fees. We already have the $1500 we need for trophies so any $ received in registration fees goes to PIF.

2. Donations at events like the upcoming GS 11 raffle, Albion Open, PIF Paddle (date TBD) etc

3. PayPal directly to [email protected] (use friends and family option so no fee gets charged).
I manage the [email protected] account and can show screenshots at any time of what $ comes in and where it goes etc. We currently have $3k available for PIF in the PayPal and checking...sctrace gave steph's family $2k in cash today. See attached screenshots showing paypal and checking balances (note that $1500 of what is shown is for AOTY/DOTY, the rest is for PIF)

4. You can click on this link and send whatever you want to donate, with a paypal account or credit card, and you can add a note that it is for steph as well and I will make sure it gets to her/her family...see screenshot example:

Hi NCKA Fam!
We will be sure to update you all as soon as we know more. No major change since Friday but the tumor is removed and the docs don't expect the immunoglobulin to kick in until Tues/Wed.
Thank you all for the continued support and generosity. I can only say the family is overwhelmed by how many friends Stephanie has and the incredible outreach.

Here are a few pix from Friday visit w Steph and family. I was struggling weather to post Steph pix- Her Dad Neal said was okay to post pix as this is her current situation if visiting in person or viewing on Ncka post.... She is in much better hands at UCSF- Staff/ Doc and facility to better help Steph recovery. I hope to visit later today. company welcome!

During last Friday visit I shared with Steph's Dad Neal NCKA post about her daughter. I bought my laptop to do some work while i was hanging out with Steph parents. As you can imagine he had many happy tears...we went through pix from Ablion and GS 2016  to give him a glimps of NCKA family- on the water fishing/ cleaning station/ food prep/ raffles/ hanging out...Neal is such a sweet Dad- from his smart phone he showed me many pix of Steph fishing with her dad- priceless! One day soon we will have Neal join NCKA event to fish with Team Steph!   

Thanks for the updates everybody!  I saw the news about Steph while getting ready to board a plane for Hawaii last week.  She has been in our family thoughts and prayers ever since.  I was hoping to log on today with the news that Steph had made a full recovery.  After reading these posts, I'm glad the doctors have pinpointed her issues and we will continue to send prayers and support her way.

Can't wait to see her back in action!

I just heard from Trace.  A bit of a step back today.   

We were told last night that a test for NMDA came back negative, but meds for that will continue.  They are scheduling a PET scan today to scan her whole body for tumors or growths.  She continues to have seizures and are trying to adjust the dosages of the meds for that.

Blows my mind they haven't figured out what is wrong yet...like a nightmare or an episode of House or something...

Monday update.  Sad to report I've been told It's NOT MNDA test came back negative. Stephanie will have PET scan today to try to find other causes.

Guess this means we will have to pray even harder.
