Line counter reel suggestions.

As far as the Lexa the 300 is a far more manageable size and would be much more pleasant and versatile reel off the yak unless you have a compelling reason to get the bigger one. PM  Fishingaddict and you will have a good answer on the Okuma by the end of the day;)

well okuma CS didn't come through on the part...its been a week. I'll give them another call tomorrow. Bummed was looking forward to fixing it and using it this weekend oh well.

I have the CW-354 DLX. Its a 300 size that holds plenty of line. The drag on it is rated at 25 lbs

Went and check the mailbox and saw a box from Okuma. They sent a new counter to install. I download the schematic on the reel so I can try and open it. Removed all the visual screws and still wasn't able to open the cover up. I tried to pry it gently but no dice so I just left it alone. I manage to wiggle the counter out on top and replace with the new one. All is good now

Daiwa sealine LC series are the standard IMO.

SG17LC is money.
