My Hobie Outback has 2 of em  :smt004
I pedal along holding my trolling rod with one hand, my coffee in the other.  When I get a fish on the coffee goes in the built in cup holder.

My Hobie Adventure has 3, which is at least 2 more than necessary. I'd much rather have the flat surface for mounting a rod holder...

I was thinking the same thing but wanted to have as much space and around me on my T13. Came up with a pretty simple idea, just have to do the reach around.

Standard bottle cage drilled into 1/2'' pvc zip tied to my crate.

Because not everyone has to have a "cup"  while paddling.  Water bottles yes,,,  a coffee cup?   That seems wierd to me.

How about a cigarette lighter along with an ash tray.
Dammm they all should have built in speakers or at least a cell phone holder.  reclining seats...
And please make the kayaks come in under 50 lbs...

My Revo has a ginormous cup holder that is worthless for the purpose. Pmmpete mounted a downrigger in his, I thought that was clever. My emotion had a nice usable cup holder.

Double duty. Native installs these on all their new kayaks.
