My wife and girls aren't gonna be able to make it...  :smt010

Several different reasons why, but the big one is that Ana just spent an unexpected week in Honduras burying her grandfather... :smt009

She's not feeling very social (and I totally get that) and also doesn't want to be away from her classroom at the end of the school year more than she already has.

I'm sure the Gyotaku will be awesome Brandi and I look forward to seeing all the awesome art and smiles!!

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim

They say it takes a community....  And that's what it takes to have a successful Gyotaku Extravaganza!!

From Jack, the owner of the Shelter Cove Campground, who makes sure we have everything we need to have the event
to the guys from the Hell-Asian group helping me set up the 10x20 tent on Friday (wind took it down Saturday night  :smt010 )
to Jeff/Codzilla loaning me tables to stage shirts, paper and paints
to Alfred to help me up the hill with my kayak so I can have more time setting up on Saturday
to Team Gyotaku Volunteers - (no particular order and hopefully not leaving anyone out) Lila, Chloe, Lauren, Hannah, Hailee, Jolie, David B., David, Brad/B-Rad, Naomi, Chey, Carson and Lawana (sp) - who helped with the event in any way that they can help out with on Saturday
to others who came by and offered to help this year and next (we will need you next year!!)
to Howard and Scott Harrison who stopped by to take photos of the event that compliment photos Lauren was taking
to EVERYONE who attended and made great fish print art
and finally to Eric Stockwell who gives me amazing support of this event....

THANK YOU!!
