Congrats and welcome to kayak fishin' happiness!  I still struggle with having to choose my Revo-16 over an Outback -- versatility vs. speed and ocean use, and then there was the minor detail that the Revo-16 was the only choice in stock at the time....

My only regrets:
  • Weight.  Hobies are heavy
  • Cramped cockpits.  That Mirage Drive dictates what happens in the cockpit, and other manufacturers have made nice use of that same space for fishing amenities.  That said, I'm a fly fisherman, so I'm used to squeezing my kit down to the most minimal, efficient set I can carry, and in the end, I find that "less is more."

Suggestion:  Replace the round center hatch with the PA rectangular hatch; there are YouTube vids that show how.

Thanks everyone, I can't wait to get it in the water. Scurvy, my old boat is a predator 13 so it is lighter, not much lol, and the square hatch is going in as soon as Beenfishin gets back from Hawaii !!!! I hope to get used to having less space, that will be the hardest transition.
