Are there additional chart options besides nautic pro I should get for fishing in the ocean around HMB?

I just bought this one. Price was great. UPS fairy brought it today. I bought the nautic card seperately for $35, that hasn't arrived yet.

I ended up buying the Hook 5 with GPS and Nautic Pro (model 000-12656-003) from Jet.com. After a coupon it was a little over $250, plus tax. It looks sold out now but Walmart and other places have it for less than $300.

Is the transducer from the elite 4 the same as the hook 4?

I could be wrong but I think the old elite 4 and elite 4 chirp have different transducers. If you had the elite 4 chirp, it should work with the hook 4.

The Elite 4 HDI and Chirp use the same transducer (from my recollection back when I switched units and asked Bill). The Hook has some differences but is basically relabeled.. Anyone who hasn't purchased one yet, I would rec. matching that deal from Cabela's for the 7 or the 5 thats a great price.

I would bring in the ad and show it to an associate at West Marine. Buy the 2 year plan on top of it. You'll be in heaven. I have been, anytime I've had an issue they trade it in for the newest model. Pretty rad.

Oh, for anyone looking I have a couple extra Nautic Pro v15 Map Chips... Id let em go for $40 - They retail for well over that.
