Fabricated the frame and rod gimbal out of Htpe recycled plastic and machined the aluminum rod to match the scotty interface. Spins up top and at the base. Gimbal attaches to the rod, has full tilt, and slides off the frame effortlessly at the strike.

Thank you sir. Looking forward to field testing it this weekend. If it works out well I will make a limited run that is Scotty, Ram, Raiblaza, Track, and Attwood compatible.

smh...if you don't have an OG O2B balancer, then you are over thinking. have more than, well lets say, more than most, of sturgeon to the boat with it in the last 9 years, lol only a few will get this, cameron

It's fun to be able to fabricate cool things in the shop. Whether they work or not I still have a good time making it. Shop time is perfect stress relief.

My buddy built a custom rail for his boat. The rods sit above our waist at almost chest height for the perfect hook set swing.
