Had a blast. My wife and kids all enjoyed themselves and commented on how well it was put together. Kudos to Victor and all who helped.

Many thanks to Victor and his family for putting on yet another great Crab Fest. It would not be the same without the sponsorships and the Headwater's crew.
I think this is our fifth year attending....and I cant imagine missing it!

We arrived on Thursday and stayed until Monday - and the weather was gorgeous. I put some pots out on Friday thanks to Ken and Roxanne, AND Victor - they rescued me with an Eddyline seat and PFD! (Brought everything but the kitchen sink and STILL managed to forget a crucial piece of equipment).

Caught quite a few on Friday but all were two small - but... managed to catch a couple of large/legal rock crabs so at least we got to taste some fresh crab that evening (huge thanks to Dave and Pam for the cooking and cleaning lesson!). Saturday was the same, but with no keepers what so ever! So huge congrats to everyone who got the jumbo's and to Anne for her win! Woot! Woot!

This event is as much about seeing good friends as it is about crabbing. It was great to see you all!

Thank you Victor, Nerissa, Dan, Headwaters crew, and all the volunteers that make Crabfest the great event it is.

Thanks to all the folks who made the great dishes and contributed to the potluck.

It was great to see all our friends and meet new ones.

Doran beach, the perfect conditions, and crabfest did not disappoint.

Thanks guys, they were all Cody's doings. His concoction, and his hot oil fire that mirrored any Forebay fire ever! Dang meathead, it was cool, no property damage and nobody lost eyebrows.

Wow!  just wow!!! What a perfect weekend + monday too... My whole family (except Meg, she's back in NY state) made it out, even my Daughter and her 4 day old Baby!!!! Gonna book for next year. Thanks Victor and Nerissa for the time and effort you put into this event. One of the flagship events for NCKA peeps....
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!
