I met up with the Big Break staff yesterday:

Parking is free

Event is free

Launch fee is $10. As I understand it, launch fees go to the county.

Adventure sports will make demos available, and it sounds like there will be some new peddle drive kayaks to test out.

We are in charge of cleanup. I'll take the reigns on cleanup, but I wouldn't mind some help.

Demo is free.

However, if you want to take one of their kayaks out to fish all day then it is recommended that you rent.

Is there anyone near Lodi, who coould pick up a kayak and PFD from The Headwaters Kayak Shop. They have donated a kayak for JAOTY/JDOTY. I can get it tomorrow if needed, but will not be at the awards until they start, it would be nice to have the kayak there early so people can check it out. Please let me know if you can help.

Victor, maybe PM Montana? He lives out there I think, and Cody has a good chance of taking that yak home!

Thank you, I did reach out to him, but I don't think it will work with his schedule.

I can't get back into town before 6:30. I am up in rice country all weekend this weekend for Junior waterfowl weekend. I can haul it if I can get it after hours next week.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
