Is this the new spot to Sacramento fishing

I don't know what "this" is in your last sentence. If you mean a physical location, then there are no new spots to Sacramento. It's all been fished. There are some spots and fisheries that are more or less open secrets. If you want to know, and are willing to dig and read, then all of the pieces are on the interwebs. Many are on this forum. Alternately, you can be a nice guy and post hookups (like this one), pictures and reports that fuel our madness. If you do that, I'll bet some of the locals will show you around some of their favorite spots.

If by "this" you mean NCKA, then no it's not a new spot to Sacramento fishing. If you haven't noticed already, there is lots of inside jokes on these forums. NCKA has been around a while. I joined in 2008, and there were already Sacramento grizzled veterans on this forum.

And if by "this" you mean the new place to post sac area hookups then no, not really. It has been around quite a while and this is the place to post hookups for all of the nor cal area.

I think you've misunderstood how the forum is organized. It is not done by location. If you start a topic in the hookup section it will be for that hookup wherever it is. Then after you can add a report on how it went and maybe add pictures. The next time after that you want to do a hookup you would start a new topic in the hookup section. Take a look at the main forum page to see how it is setup. You'll notice two hookup sections, public and private. They are separate from the tournament section where you started your topic. Look in those sections and you'll see how each hookup has its own topic. If you fish the port of sac two weeks in a row you would post two different topics with the date for each in the subject line. Spend some time browsing and it'll help you see how things are done. People are trying to help. You'll get the hang of it.  :smt006

It's funny there are rules to Kayak fish
Rules, of course there are rules! Post for sale in the for sale area, hookups in the hookup area and events tournaments and trips in events tournaments and trips. Don't suggest using a trolling motor is in any way kayak fishing and don't ever tell anyone that the fish and game regulations are something other than what everyone has always believed them to be!  :smt006 :smt044

I lol'd.

No admin got mad at you here.  We move things to where people reading the forum would most expect to see them, and come back to them.  We were actually helping you.

I'm a sac local. Out of rancho cordova. But currently deployed in Afg. I'll be home in the summer.  Looking forward to getting back and hitting the water.

Next wendsday February Montezuma area

Now see here's a perfect example,

You should have gone to the forum, then to Hookups and Reports either public or members only then hit new topic and posted up this as a new hookup.

Otherwise the "Next wendsday February Montezuma area" is buried in this thread where allot of people aren't gonna see it.

People who are looking for hookups to go fishing (meetups) look in the Hookup section for new topics describing an upcoming hookup (aka meetup to you), not so much buried in a 3 page thread like this has become.
