AOTY/DOTY Awards date

Anyone know when and where this years event will take place.  I checked the calendar and used the search feature but nothing came up. 

I am teaching some ATV classes on weekends and can't back out once I set the dates. 

We are working a date and location right now.

I thought the idea was to rotate one year inland and the next on the coast.

I think it should always be on the coast.
Where on the coast is what should be decided.
Doing it at a fresh water location isn't fair to divers.
AOTY / DOTY are both saltwater only AOTY is freshwater.
It only makes sense to have it somewhere between Carmel and Mendo.

I presume the location is changes every year to allow people, who cannot attend easily (distance wise), to do so.

This is more of a gathering to celebrate the winners. We do not necessarily need fishing or diving. We need a place to have a potluck, hang out, have a few drinks, and give out some awards.

I don't want to go to Clear Lake.   

Since you can never make everybody happy with the location, why not make it a spoil of victory.  AOTY winner picks the location in even years, DOTY winner picks in odd years.  That way anyone who doesn't like it can just win next time and have it where they want it.  THat would be one less thing to argue about each winter.
