There isn't much you can't do with one.  I've had mine about 10 years now.  I use mine all the time.  I have this exact model.

It spins at 37k RPM.  It would be overkill.

These are awesome blenders.  I have one because I can no longer swallow most solid foods (two neck surgeries and still not resolved).

People who are on gastric feeding tubes frequently need one to make blended meals (think throat and neck cancer, etc -- I had one myself after my esophageal surgeries).

You can chuck in an advocado, seed and all and it will make a nice puree out of the thing   Replacement jars, parts, etc. are available on Amazon.
